WHAT’S HOT?
Spring’s Boldest Color Trends
3/20/26
Hello Hot Friends,
Spring officially arrived this morning at 10:46 AM here on the East Coast—and honestly, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with color.
Even if it’s not quite feeling like spring just yet, I am more than ready to dive into these lush, mood-boosting shades that promise warmer days ahead. If you know me, you know: nothing excites me more than color. And this season? We are not holding back.
Spring 2026 is all about bold expression—maximalism, joy, and color that makes you feel something.
And to make it even more fun, we’re celebrating the arrival of spring with a HOT weekend sale—enjoy 30% off everything on the site through Sunday at midnight. Consider it your invitation to start dressing for sunshine.
Here are 8 bold color trends for spring paired with the perfect piece from House of Terrance.
1. Color Clash
A forever favorite of mine. Pair rich, unexpected hues together for a look that feels fearless and modern.
Semi-precious gems and freshwater pearls cascade down this stunning stainless steel mesh collar necklace by uber talented 80s jewelry designer Connie Bates. This piece has the power to elevate absolutely everything you pair it with!
2. Tomato Red
There’s always a red in the mix—but this one? It's warm, vibrant, and just a little spicy. My personal favorite kind of red!
This vintage pendant necklace may very well be the work of the prolific jewelry designer Robert Lee Morris, although it is not signed. The substantial sterling silver fob showcases a small cross resting atop two polished silver globes, creating a striking, sculptural silhouette. The pendant hangs from a silver chain finished with a distinctive modernist clasp that adds artistic flair. Total length measures 12 inches.
3. Violet
Regal and surprisingly fresh. Violet and purple tones add instant richness—and they pair beautifully with just about everything else here.
Made of beautiful smooth resin these clip ons are in gorgeous shades of blue, green and purple. From the Australian design company Dinosaur Design, these were purchased there in the early 90s. 4 1/2” long.
4. Ultramarine Blue
While softer blues are trending, this deep, saturated shade feels more modern and striking. A true standout.
These Murano Glass Millefiori Earrings are unique and colorful, boasting beautiful artistic designs that merge centuries-old Murano Glass artistic tradition with contemporary trends. Millefiori ("a thousand flowers") is an ancient glassmaking technique where tiny mosaic pieces are cut from special glass canes, then arranged by hand, and fused together. These beauties in deep blue are 3” long with sterling silver wires. Exquisite!
5. A Better-Than-Millennial Pink
Yes, we’re still in love, but this slightly richer pink feels updated, flattering, and outright happy!
This is a stunner! A soft pink cotton T-shirt with the most magical puff sleeves in beige netting that has been beautifully embellished with paillettes, beading and embroidery. Never worn, it’s from the early 2000s by ultra-feminine Italian designer brand, Bluemarine. In great condition and size large.
6. Fresh Spring Green
I’ll admit it—I’m obsessed. This crisp, mouth-watering green works beautifully as a statement or in small pops like jewelry or accessories.
This charming claw clip by Solar Eclipse is designed in New York City and features a double-sided design for a perfect look from all angles. Handmade with biodegradable acetate made from recycled wood pulp and hand-painted by artists, this accessory effortlessly holds hair for a secure, all-day style. This unique hair clip makes a great gift!
7. Calming Cream
Inspired by Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, this soft, airy neutral is the perfect palette cleanser—and the ideal base for building a look.
These amazing apple pins, made of faux ivory and embellished with rhinestones, are from the 1960s and were designed by prolific fashion designer and jeweler Nettie Rosenstein. Highly collectible and ultra charming, these fabulous apples will brighten any lapel! Sold as a pair, the large one is 1 1/2” wide and 2” long. The smaller one is 1 1’4” wide and 2” long in great condition. $250 for the pair, but I’m open to selling them separately. Email me if interested.
8. Goldenrod
Think of it as last year's Buttercup Yellow’s bolder sister. Warmer, richer, and impossible to ignore—it’s pure sunshine in color form.
This beautiful vintage wrap skirt by Paul Smith Blue is in a striking iconic scarf print in shades of yellow, pink, and green. 100 % silk, it sits on the hips. Great with a white T-shirt. Size Italian 42 or US size 6. In perfect condition.
So tell me—are you dipping a toe into color this season… or diving all the way in?
Either way, we’ve got something for you.
Stay bold. Stay bright. Stay HOT.
Terry xoxo
