WHAT’S HOT?

Spring Beauty!

3/28/26

Dear Hot Friends,

Spring is here! It's the season when we crave new beginnings. In addition to the desire for a whole new wardrobe, we want newness in our beauty regimen as well. For this seasonal reset, I turned—as I often do—to my trusted circle of beauty insiders. We all worked together in beauty advertising for many years, so we know a thing or two about the category. We understand not just what’s new, but what’s worth it. One thing is for sure -- color is coming in Hot for beauty this spring. Eyeshadow and blush are bolder than they've been in a while, and I'm here for it!

Now let's take a look at What's Hot? in beauty by category:

1. Treatment -- LANEIGE Water Bank Aqua Facial Serum

I've used various LANEIGE products over the years, and the one thing that always stands out is that these products are some of the most hydrating on the market. This new daily serum is inspired by Korean glass skin facials. It hydrates, exfoliates, and boosts the skin's glow all at once. It has a lineup of amazing ingredients that immediately give you fresh, dewy skin.

2. Face -- Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops

This suggestion came from Alice, my go-to for all things beauty. No one knows the category as well as she does. Not only has she worked in beauty her entire career, but she is a beauty and knows what it takes to stay that way! These drops from makeup artist Gucci Westman are at the top of my list, and they promise serum-strength actives that visibly improve skin texture, firmness, and radiance drop by drop. I'm in!

3. Lips -- CNP Labs Propolis Lipcerin

I've never been much of a lip balm girl (my lips are usually covered in bright lipstick!), but when I tried this balm by CNP Labs, I was hooked. It’s rich like an ointment, but melts down like butter the second it hits your lips. It’s formulated with earthy, antioxidant-rich manuka honey and anti-inflammatory, resin-like propolis extract. I'm addicted!

4. Blush -- RMS Lip2Cheek

Do you know Rose Marie Swift, the founder of RMS Cosmetics? She's been a makeup artist for decades and a pioneer of the clean beauty movement. I love that RMS is a well-edited line of makeup and skincare essentials that multitask. The Lip2Cheek product is a perfect example; it's gorgeous on your cheeks as a soft blush or your lips as a radiant lip balm.

5. Eyeshadow -- Hung Vanngo Eyeshadow Palette

I'm a sucker for an eyeshadow palette. I find all those little boxes of sparkling color irresistible, but we all know that we only end up using 1 or 2 colors in the palette. I fell for the Composed Cool palette, which is a mix of cool-toned silver, gray, and black shades. Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo is creating bold, wearable colors, and I know I'll wear every shade in the palette!

6. Hair -- Scalp Brush Kenzan

This next product is from my favorite purveyor of fabulous must-have beauty products from around the world, Takamichi Beauty Room. I'm always tempted to buy whenever I visit this charming neighborhood jewelbox of a store. Meet the Kenzan Scalp Brush by Uka—a deceptively simple tool that stimulates the scalp, lifts buildup, and encourages healthier hair from the root. A small ritual that elevates the everyday.

7. Body -- Weleda Pampering Body Oil in Wild Rose

You most likely know the Weleda name. Established in 1921, the brand is world-renowned for homeopathic medicines, skin care products, and dietary supplements. For over 100 years, Weleda has harnessed the power of nature in its products to help support natural wellbeing and vitality. This blend of wild rose, sweet almond, and jojoba oils leaves skin supple, softly scented, and beautifully cared for. Proof that luxury can also be quietly accessible.

8. Fragrance -- Carnal by Kitsugi Parfumes

This fragrance had me at its name, Carnal! As a long-time fan of Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle, I knew I would love it, and reader, I do! Crafted in Prague by perfumer Martin Švach, Carnal balances freshness, florals, spice, and woods in one bold yet sophisticated composition. This one is truly beautiful.

As you know, in honor of International Women’s Month, we’re donating 20% of all March sales to the Bottomless Closet—an organization that helps women enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence through coaching, resume support, and professional attire.

If you’ve been considering a thoughtful refresh (with Mother’s Day on the horizon), this is a meaningful way to do so.

And remember, you can also donate any gently used work-appropriate clothing to them at: 1 West 34th St., 5th floor, NY, NY 10001. Thanks in advance for whatever you can do.

Happy Spring beauty shopping!
Terry xoxo
