Dear Hot Friends,
I was talking to a good friend the other day, and she asked me what I thought this season’s must-haves are. What pieces will instantly update our fall wardrobes? Since this is such a good—and relevant—question, one we’re probably all asking right now, I had to try to answer it for her, as well as for all of you!
My friend and I have a lot in common. Neither of us goes to an office anymore, but we both want to look stylish, be comfortable, and, most importantly, not try too hard to achieve either. We also have plenty of clothes in our closets already, so we’re looking for ways to spice up what we have with just a few new pieces.
Here’s my Fall ’26 wish list:
1. The Bomber Jacket — Bomber jackets come around every few years like clockwork, and I’m always happy to see them! There’s something inherently cool about the blouson shape, and they often have funnel necks, which I find instantly flattering on everyone. (No, you are not imagining that! The Prada bomber is $11,500!! Inspo only!!!)

2. The Polo Sweater — Of all the sweater shapes we’re seeing this season, the polo feels the freshest. The collar adds a cool, preppy touch to whatever you pair it with. This season, we’re seeing short-sleeve as well as long-sleeve versions in heavy cotton, cashmere, and argyle.

3. The Slim Loafer — The standout shoe trend for fall 2026 is the refined, minimalist slip-on loafer. More intentional than sneakers, the loafer offers elevated comfort and comes in a wide range of textures and colors.

5. The Statement Necklace — Have you heard? The jewelry look that defined the 2010s is back, big time!
