This vintage statement necklace features 24 strands of amber horn beads and a large leopard cowrie shell centerpiece. Purchased in Asia in the late 1990s, it was created by Danish designer Gerda Lynggaard for her company Monies. The close-fitting choker fastens with Monies’ recognizable chunky oval clasp. The unsigned piece is in great condition, with only light wear at the back of the clasp.
