This stunning three-strand necklace is vintage Jay Strongwater, born Jay Feinberg. Multi-sized beads in purple and gold are clasped with a gold-tone buckle. Jay Strongwater was a jewelry savant who created sophisticated bold designs while at RISD and was known in the 80s for his runway designs. This piece isn’t signed but was purchased from his atelier in the early 1980s. 20” long.
